Our Purpose Statement
The Church At
to Salvation, instructing them in Ministry and involving them in the Family of God.
I. We Exist To Love God
WORSHIP:
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God,
and serve him only.’ Mathew. 4:10 (NIV)
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father
in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and
his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24 (NIV)

II. We Exist To Love People
Ministry:
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:35 (NIV)
III. We Exist To Invite Others To Salvation
Evangelism:
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe
in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching
to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful
are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15 (NIV)
Why Our Church Must Never Stop Growing
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient
with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9 (NIV)
And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them
to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23
IV. We Exist To Instruct Others In Ministry
Discipleship:
Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not
laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God.
Hebrews 6:1 (NIV)
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be
glory both now and for ever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some,
pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of
the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of
the fullness of Christ: Eph. 4:11-13
V. We Exist To Involve Others in the Family of God
Fellowship:
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking
of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous
signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in
common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their
homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor
of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)
